Twin Peaks
Twin peaks is named for Sally Ann Mountain which has twin peaks. We live on the north peak of Sally Ann. Sally Ann rises up to a height of It was named that by the Cherokees because an Indian trader lived here and his wife's name was Sally Ann. On many maps they may denote Higdon it sits at the bottom of the southern peak and there was a store and a post office at that intersection of old highway 2 and Lebanon Road when I was a small child. It is the last community before you enter the Cohutta Wilderness.
The room has two twin beds and looks out over a beautiful northern vista. Great as an extra room for families but no private bath. Can use half bath on main floor but baths and showers will have to be in your room. Or perhaps if they want to shuffle down to the basement, the media room has bathroom with a shower attached to it.
The Twin Beds in this room have been used by many members of my family we have passed them around and they have many pleasant memories of sleepovers or "spend the night" parties as we called it back then. There is a USGS map of the area on the wall. See if you can find Sally Ann... and great for planning your adventures while you are here.
