Our Perspective - The Way Life Used to Be....
Y’all come back... that was probably the last thing you heard when you left that beloved place in the country. Now for some it might be their grandmothers, for others a favorite aunt or perhaps a best friend’s family. Those words harken back the memories of a simpler time. When people were more important than stuff. When time wasn’t touted as valuable... it was meant to be spent on the people you cared about. Come visit Moonshadow Ridge and capture that memory again.
Here on Sally Ann Mountain, there is a new farm house but the values remain the same. You can choose to live a life that is built on simple pleasures and deep rooted character. Find time to share all of that with old and new friends. Come to Higdon, where wisdom was imparted to a new generation from a rocking chair on the front porch, alongside some good peach cobbler. And the conversations on that porch would have manners and mischief coincide.
Come to Lebanon Road.. cozy up in our home Let us indulge you... or as we say in the mountains let us spoil you. Enjoy the many pleasures of our community and then come and unwind as we treat you like “company”. And a real back woods southerner knows that company is not some business enterprise.
Let us spin some stories of long ago. Such as Cherokee Indian “Missing Funds” who may lighten your burden of a heavy wallet. Or the early 20th century Revenuers and Moonshining and James Dickey author of Deliverance kinfolk and most recently Cocaine Bear.
